Hey Coach Benny, as you know tomorrow is the NLI, one of the biggest days of my life. I couldn’t have done it without you. I can’t thank you enough for all the opportunities you’ve given me. Joining TB SoCal was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made…Life changing really. That Florida trip was an amazing way to go out. That was the most fun playing baseball I’ve ever had. Again, thank you for everything, you changed my life.
What makes TB SoCal Baseball so unique is they truly care about the players – this is not a “pay to play” organization. Not only do they focus on player development and fundamental/competitive skills needed to play in high school, college and beyond, they also emphasize character development on and off the field. They really want what is best for the player and provide assistance and tools to help find the right fit for playing after high school. Great competitive environment that focuses on a team mentality which is essential in baseball.
My son Carson joined the TB SoCal Program 3 years ago on the recommendation of a friend. The program was recommended to Carson so he could take his game to the next level. After meeting with the coaching staff, we collectively agreed this was going to be a move in the right direction. The program caters to athletes from LA to North County and gives athletes several opportunities to work out and train in both areas.
The fields they train on are top-notch and accessible to all athletes. My wife is extremely impressed by how well the directors’ Benny Bonilla and Ryan Thompson communicate with the athletes and sends out regular emails with all information regarding practices and tournaments. TB SoCal works directly with college coaches to ensure athletes have an opportunity to attend and play at the college of their choice. Through Benny and Ryan, my son was given the opportunity to visit several colleges and ultimately earned a baseball scholarship to Cal Berkley.
TB SoCal creates a competitive environment that promotes team, mental strength, and discipline. The coaching staff creates relationships that will last a lifetime. I am blessed that my son had the opportunity to play for TB SoCal and be mentored and coached by some of the finest coaches in club baseball.
Incredible Baseball Organization! We have been with TBSoCal for 5 years and I must say it is the best baseball decision we’ve ever made for Myles. Benny, Ryan and the rest of the organization have helped mold Myles into the player that he has become. Young players need a pat on the back as well as a kick in the butt, and from my perspective they executed that masterfully. They always struck the appropriate balance needed for any player to grow. They always fielded a very competitive team which allowed each member to compete to the best of their abilities. Our team competed against some of the best programs in the country and more often than not, we found ourselves in position to win most tournaments. In addition, the exposure that Myles and his teammates received can never be understated. Benny and Ryan know EVERYONE at the college and pro level, and they work extremely hard at helping players and families identify the right fit at the college level. Along with Myles’ ability, I know they both were instrumental in Myles’ commitment to UC Irvine. From college coaches to professional scouts, TB SoCal players get every opportunity to be seen. From a 14U USA National Championship to an 18U Perfect Game World Series and everything in between, our experience with TB SoCal has been priceless, and we are forever grateful!

Yes, we have been approached by numerous clubs. And, honestly, it does feed the daddy – ego. But in the end, we stayed with TB SoCal because they are genuine people and fantastic coaches of both baseball and reality. We have no regrets whatsoever. TB SoCal should be at the top of every parent’s wish list. TB SoCal provides that opportunity better than any travel club we have observed.
